Gravity Movie

Gravity MovieDirector Alfonso Cuaron (who once brought us Children of Men) will helm Gravity, an upcoming science-fiction movie based on a script he wrote with his son Jonas. The story was initially centered on a female lead character, but when Angelina Jolie left, the project must have gone through some rewrite, now there are two lead characters: the space station leader played by Robert Downey Jr. and a female colleague (no actress announced yet). The movie should start filming this Summer so it will probably be released in 2011.

"The story takes place on a remote space station. The leader (Robert Downey Jr.) of the station and a female colleague are traveling outside the space station when the other team members are decimated by debris from an exploded satellite."

I'm a science-fiction addict so I totally dig the script! Besides the movie Gravity will be filmed in 3D, so we may expect gorgeous 3D scenes in our theaters: it will be like floating in space with them! But beyond that marvelous 3D gimmick, it's obviously a character-driven movie with a strong plot, so I bet that the movie Gravity is going to be a hit!

More details about the movie Gravity soon!
